Wicked takes top spot at the 2009 Tribe Baseball 5k!!!
With free beer and free pizza being offered, not even a little drizzle (more like a down pour!) could keep a few members of Wicked away from the 2009 Tribe Baseball 5k. The race took place at the Roadhouse Pub in Peabody and race proceeds went to help Tribe AAU Baseball.
After a somewhat awkward start to the race, it was clear that Dave Long was out to crush the competition. And crush the competition he did. Coming in with a 17:00 which just happens to be a new PR.
Tim Short (second overall) and Billy Prentiss (first 60+ age group) also had solid efforts, finishing the race in 18:05 and 25:51 respectively.
