Weekend Race Results

With everyone focused on the Boston Marathon, one might think that the racing world came to pause over this past weekend. This was not the case as Wicked had a strong presence at the Chase the Gorilla 5K in Ipswich and Wicked Runners took on the B.A.A. 5K and the 47th Annual Patriots Day Fun Run as well.

Thank you again to John Mahoney (As if he wasn’t busy enough with being the head volunteer for the Power Gel station) who helped out Tim Short with getting the race results compiled for this post. If you don’t see your name or the race you ran, please email Tim Short and he will update this post to make sure that you are included! Remember to email Tim with all of your results by Sunday night to be included in the Weekend Race Results. This will be even more important as we head into the busy summer racing season.

Boston Marathon Recap – Wicked Style!

Congratulations to all 20 Wicked Runners who finished the 115th Boston Marathon!

21 Wicked Runners started their day in Hopkinton and 21 Wicked Runners finished their day back in Boston after battling the historic Boston Marathon. Some had smiles from ear to ear as each foot step brought them closer to their goal, while others came face to face with the mythical “wall” and the even more menacing Heartbreak Hill that proved to be a challenge. But one thing is certain, everyone from the Wicked Running Club who finished the Boston Marathon should not only be proud of their accomplishment of completing 26.2 miles, but also representing our club and raising money for some outstanding charities! Below are the results of our 20 Boston Marathon finishers, GO WICKED!
