Get ready, get set, and save the date for the Wicked Frosty Four! The next Wicked Frosty Four will be held on Thursday  January 1st, 2009. Race applications are now available! Click on the registration link, and you will be able to download one.

With Thanksgiving next week and Christmas fast approaching, the Second Annual Wicked Frosty Four is closer than you think. The Race committee has been working hard and we’ve seen some wonderful results. As you might have noticed, we have brand new Wicked Frosty Four art work! The art work is the result of some pretty impressive work by Michele Campbell. A newly designed poster for the race is on it’s way as well. But there is still more work to be done. Even if you can’t make the race committee meetings there are ways to help out. Here a few ways you can support the Second Annual Wicked Frosty Four; 1) Print out some race apps (click the link to download the race app) and bring them to the next local race you go to. Most races will have a table for local race applications. 2) Get a local company to sponsor (click the link to download the sponsorship form) the race. If every member just got $50.00 in sponsorship money, the scholarship fund for 2010’s scholarships would be well funded. And 3) Spread the word! Our best advertisement doesn’t come from the race being listed on coolrunning.com, it comes from the members of the Wicked Running Club! Tell a co-worker, a family member, or even your hair dresser. Last year’s race was such a success, don’t be shy to let everyone you know that the Wicked Frosty Four is coming back and it’s going to be bigger and better than the first edition!! 

 

 

Frosty Four Starting Line

Our first Wicked Frosty Four took place on January 1, 2008. Thanks to everyone that helped make the event a great success. We had a solid turnout of 324 runners and look forward to the Frosty Four becoming a New Year’s tradition in the Greater Salem Area.
