CLUB NOTES… official club biz and reminders-
Good luck to Bill Morse, Steph Cooper, Shari Hewson, Ken Hewson, and Bruce Campbell who will be representing Wicked this weekend at the Mt. Washington Road Race!!
Group Runs: Wicked offers 3 official organized runs during the week. If you are looking for a group of people to run with on different days or different times than the official Club runs, feel free to email the entire club at wicked@googlegroups.com.
Saturdays 8am at Forest River Park
The next Monday night slow run on June 22nd will start from Lynch Park park in lot in Beverly MA at 6:30 pm. The rules are the same. All are welcome, no place is too slow! For more info please email John Mahoney at john@wickedrunningclub.com
Tuesdays/Thursdays 5:30 starting at the Front Street Café.
-Our next Board meeting is July 6th, 2009 at 6:30 pm. Instead of meeting at the Senior Center in Salem, we will be meeting at the Tavern in the Square on Washington Street in Salem. Where? Forest River Park
When? July 18, 2009 at 9 a.m.

Wicked 5th Anniversary Party
August 1st, 2009 3pm Camp Naumkeag
Come and celebrate Wicked Running Club’s 5th Anniversary!!! This event is open to all WRC members and their families! We hope you can make it!
One of the many things that will be happening during the party will be a photo slide show with music. Please pick 1-2 photos by July 13th if you would like your photo(s) to be in the slide show. Photos can be of you before being a member of the Wicked Running Club, but it would be great if you could send in at least one photo of yourself in some Wicked Gear! As for the music, pick the names of 2 songs by July 10th. Send both Photos and songs to Tim Short at tim.short1@gmail.com. We will then have a vote to decide the top 5 songs during the weekend, with results announced on Monday the 13th.

This is an awesome race! June 28th. Some minor hills but it’s relatively flat course, great barbeque after with a guitar player and it’s at a bar so you can get a cold beer afterwards! Parking fills quickly so get there EARLY!
I plan on making a day of it. I would love to have some company out there! Let me know if you are interested in joining us. I think Lester, Carol and Angel are going to do it with me. The more the merrier I always say!

Wicked Runners have been know to travel all over the country, and sometimes out of the country to take on a race that measures 26.2 miles.
